SOURCES OF WATER POLLUTION

Water pollution are mainly caused by human activities such as channeling of pipe lines into water bodies, oil spillage and indecent disposal of waste and refuses into water bodies. This could cause serious introduction of BOD( Bio Oxygen Demand) which may be detrimental to aquatic lives and even the proper use of the water.
